Summary
We took upon us a very important challenge, to deliver a message to the younger generation about a concerning issue. This issue is sustaining our beautiful planet for future generations. We decided to create a video which mirrored the reactions most people have when they see news about our planet and habitat being wounded and in great danger. It is a video that will make people empathize while giving them the information we acquired during the hackathon from resources in this challenge. It is an informing video that gives out the message we need, save Earth today not tomorrow.
How We Addressed This Challenge
This challenge asks from us to find a way to communicate the message of sustaing our planet in an attractive way and we did that by a video that informs and sensibilizes people concerning this issue.
How We Developed This Project
The main inspiration came from a TV ad in our country which showcases nature talking to humans and explaning that we need nature and not the other way around. Another inspiration was from school projects we've done before where it was worked with this theme.
We used Filmora, an editing software, to create this video. We had only minor problems, with trying to convey our message as well as possible in the 30 seconds amount of time.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We used data from NASA page and the Candian Government page in issues like ice exctent change, fires and deforestation. It influenced greatly in our project being the greatest sources of information for our video and helped us as a group learn new things.
